Funerals
The loss of a loved one is a very emotional and difficult time. Arranging a funeral can be very upsetting and sometimes it seems easier to go along with what is offered. But a funeral that does not reflect the life and character of the person you have lost can make a sad situation even worse. I will help create a civil funeral to your requirements, based on your beliefs and the beliefs of your loved one.
Initially I will make a personal visit to you and I will discuss with you what you want to happen on the day. I will help you to decide what you would like include in the ceremony. You do not need to have any religious elements at all, but if you would like to include a hymn or a prayer that will be fine. I can also help to choose any poems or readings if you wish. If you would prefer me to conduct the entire ceremony I will be honoured to do so, but should you or anyone else like to contribute, either by writing or speaking you are welcome.
When the script is written I will send a copy to you so that you be sure that you are satisfied with everything that will be said on the day.
Throughout the entire process I will be available to ease any worries that you might have, and to ensure that the ceremony runs smoothly.
